When visitors leave comments on SOSTechnical, we collect the data shown in the comments form, along with the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help prevent spam. An anonymized string created from your email address (a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to check for a profile image. If your comment is approved, your profile picture may appear publicly alongside your comment.
Media
If you upload images to SOSTechnical, please avoid including embedded location data (EXIF GPS) within those images. Visitors can potentially download and extract location data from images posted on the site.
